Charmaine Lam is an emerging fashion and textile designer currently based in London. Born in Hong Kong, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Knitwear Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with first-class honours and received an Outstanding Award in the PolyU Fashion Show 2020 before continuing her postgraduate study in MA Fashion from Kingston University. Charmaine debuted her MA graduate collection to critical acclaim at London Fashion Week digitally in 2022 which is known for her exquisite craftsmanship and avant-garde design.

Other than only considering garments’ detail and silhouette, Charmaine’s work can be identified by her heavily handcrafted textiles. Combining her artisanal fabrications and interesting silhouette, her work is personalized and presented with a very strong identity.
